Past me here just wanting to congratulate me for graduating because that means the papers current me, i.e. future me’s past me, is trying to finish are all finished! And let me tell me current me doesn’t think that’s ever going to happen but future me knows all this already so I don’t have to tell me all this. But past me just wants to tell future me how proud I am of me for finishing these papers and for graduating because current me, i.e. past me for future me, really needs to encourage me right now and knowing future me is chilling is really comforting for current me still working. Jeannette, there are no words to say how proud we are of you. Ever since you entered kindergarten up in tell now you have always been an overachiever. I can’t believe 2 years flew by already. 2 years ago We all didn’t want you to leave and now look at you! about to get your bachelors! When I graduated from Crown College in 1974 I was planning to take a year off and apply to graduate school. I'm glad I took that year, difficult as it was at the time, because I did not get another year off until my sabbatical in 1992. The 1970s were a great time to get into higher education. Now I am happy to be emeritus but am cautiously optimistic about the future of academia (and, to a lesser extent, the government and the economy) because of the promise that I see in the young graduates. Personally, I feel that I have taught you all that I have to offer, so I'll pass the baton to you, wit confidence that you will figure out whatever tomorrow brings. Good Luck in that endeavor.

What to say about my amazing cousin Jesse Acevedo graduating, all I can say is that I’m very proud of him he deserves nothing but the best !
